A lightweight layer with style + sun protection

This Japanese-inspired chambray work smock is beautiful, breathable and most importantly, the fabric weave offers natural UPF 45+ sun protection. Small but important details like a stand-up collar and cuffs cover the bits of skin that can poke out and get burned during your time outside. This shirt jac has six deep pockets, and Dovetail’s famous Twine Hole™ for all our favorite spring gardeners.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold, separately
  • Hang dry.
  • If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.
  • Color may transfer.

This garment has been indigo dyed. Dye can rub off on skin, drywall, and lighter fabrics. It can also fade if left in the sun or over-soaked. Please wash separately the first few times and wear with dark colors in the beginning. This natural beauty is not trying to be high maintenance, she just needs time to settle in. Trust us, she's worth it. Once broken in, wash with like colors but keep the temp cool. Heat messes with our special fabrics, and can shorten the lifespan of this piece. Stay cool, y'all!

I LOVE this shirt jac!

I was lucky enough to pick up one of these at the Dovetail Galentines warehouse sale and it's fabulous! Stylish, functional, comfortable. I have been wearing it a lot and received many compliments on how nice it is and how much attention to detail the garment has. Thank you Dovetail!
