The Hadley Short Sleeve Coveralls in Wabash Stripe Stretch Canvas puts a new spin on Dovetail's iconic sharp coverall design with a heritage fabric straight out of the workwear archives. These short sleeve coveralls for women are crafted from indigo stretch canvas, featuring the classic Wabash Stripe of white dashes and dots. Wabash Stripe nods to what great-great-grandma wore working on the railroads. The word Wabash comes from the Miami tribe's ‘Wah-bah-shik-ki,’ meaning “water flowing over white stones." The indigo blue coveralls not only honor tradition but also provide the comfort and flexibility needed for today’s demanding tasks.

When mechanic Faye Hadley of All Girls Garage and Moto Mythbusters inquired about coveralls, Dovetail answered the call for well-fitting women's workwear. Traditional options were often too baggy, with wide legs that picked up oil and dust, or had rivets and exposed zippers that could damage delicate work in an auto restoration or repair shop. The few coveralls marketed to women were made from cheap fabric and were merely a sized-down version of a man's fit. So, we stepped in with our signature women's fit, incorporating an inner drawcord, belt loops, and snaps for versatile wear, ensuring women can work comfortably and confidently anywhere.

Why did I wait so long?

I have been eyeing this for a while, and now I wish I had gotten it sooner! It is fabulous! I usually get a 10 in pants here, and the medium fits perfectly. I can’t wait to get it dirty 😉

These are great

These coveralls fit well and are very comfortable. I wear them all day in a pottery studio and so far they are great. One of my favorite features is that the front pockets are very deep which I appreciate as it seems to be unusual in women's jeans/pants. The high waist fit is comfortable and I think looks better as well.

Farming gear

I am a sheep farmer, among other things.

Have started using Hadley Coveralls doing chores, and soon heading into lambing season, where they will be put to the test with carrying extra tools and crouching and climbing.

I love them so far.

The only concern worth noting is that they look so good I almost don't want to get them dirty.
