Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Excellent work pants
I had ordered the trail pants because they were $10 less expensive but then realized these were the “work” pants. It doesnt look like much on paper but the differences are marked. These work pants have an elastic waistband and full frontal double panels. The knife guard on the pocket is a joy. At first the pants felt tight and i was worried they were too small. After trying them on a second time and working in them, they loosened up and were just perfect. Sizing inconsistencies tend to continue from diff styles of pants but the reviews have helped in sizing. These pants work well for me sizing down one and they dont feel super tight or formfitting and they also dont sag t in the back. So far they live up to their expectation of cool pants in hot weather and they shed water really well which is always a plus when working with plaster. We work with a lot of red clay and so far little staining has occurred on these pants- they areliving up to their stain resistance as well. I would love to see more colors available b/c they sell out so fast. Appreciate yall dovetail! Hopefully yall out out some shorts sometime soon!

Can I order the pre-order item and something else that’s already in stock? Yes, you can! We’ll ship the in-stock item first, and when the pre-order item is available, we’ll ship that to you separately.
