We all gotta stand for something. Women’s rights. Helping those less fortunate. Clean water access. Perfectly mitered joints. A beautifully groomed horse (which invariably will roll immediately in the nearest spot of mud). Making sure your stove and microwave clocks are always exactly the same time.

Whatever we stand for, we should stand IN something comfy. Enter Dovetail merino wool work socks. (No rules, you can wear them without working. It’s ok)

These socks come in nice colors that blend well with the colorway of the whole Dovetail line. So you can keep with something I stand for—having my socks match my outfit.

The material is warm, non-itchy wool so should be also thermoregulating in fluctuating temps.

There is a nice amount of cushion and a supportive area around the arch/instep.

The stripy pattern is a bonus and a welcome departure from boring socks.

Overall, I’m very happy to stand in these socks. And to stand up for whatever I need to, because I know my feet will be comfy while I do so.

They are warm and comfortable, not itchy, very cool colors. Work great alone but also as base socks when I double up on colder days in the field.
