If this stripe seems familiar, good eye. Last year, we made prototypes of a few styles in Indigo Stripe Denim, a fan-fave fabric. Out of curiosity, our product developer Rachelle tea-dyed the High Rise sample. We found it perfectly Dovetailed heritage style and fantastic function.
  • Lightweight stretch denim
  • Fabric weight: 8 oz
  • Fabric content: 99% cotton / 1% spandex

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry.
  • If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

HIgh waist!

I love the high waist. I like the slightly lighter weight denim.

After talking to Dovetail, I fell right in between a size 12 and 14.

I went with the 12, just a bit snug, and they will work for me.

Favorite

I have a long torso so this is the perfect rise. I have a couple other dovetail pants but I don’t wear them much because the “mid” rise isn’t very comfortable on my body. These are great- I can move and there’s no uncomfortable camel toe!

Fit like they were tailored

These pants fit like I took them to the tailor and had them custom made. They are super comfortable and the long waste means it doesn't cause a muffin top and it keeps it all in when bending down. I do habitat restoration - lots of up and down and twisting and turning usually causing me to stop and tuck everything back in but with these I can work for hours without re-adjusting. The way these pants are designed you can move but the fabric is still tough and protective. The pocket placement and depth is also perfect. I'm not the biggest fan of the stripe but the trees don't seem to care. I'm hoping the other color comes back in stock. These are my favorite work pants.

We have a winner

I love my Britts and Annas. The day constructs and mavens have never fit me quite right so I was on the fence about trying this high rise style. Seems like folks either love em or are “definitely not for me”. Well turns out I’m in the former camp. High rise are definitely my bag! I got my usual Dovetails size and they are relaxed but not baggy or saggy. An immediate yes. I wore them out of the box and worked on a renovation in them all day. The fabric is light and comfortable, perfect for summer, and the stripes are cute as hell. Make more please!!
