In an easy stretch cotton blend, Christa DIY in Sulfur Navy is the love child of a jogger and a work pant. Pulls on easy with an elasticated waist. But with 7 pockets, double-layered knees, and a hammer loop, she’s also the job captain. Kick back, work on.

Props to our friends at Foison Textiles in China, who sewed this product. This facility is powered entirely by solar. Oeko-Tex and WRAP-certified, Foison is truly being the change we want to see in the garment world.

This cotton blend has deep stretch, a delicious drape, and just the right touch of heft to get you off the couch and into a project. And hot damn, that color! This is no regular navy. A fancy dye process adds a special something extra, catching all that rich color in the creases. Yum.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

The pants I didn’t know I needed

I bought these after reading the rave reviews and thought I’d give them a try. I was a little skeptical as I don’t like pants made of more suction cup materials as the accentuate my hips and butt. However, the navy ones were not that way. They were also SO comfortable and it reminded me of having a more durable and nicer maternity pants due to the comfortable pull on waist.

I went back to buy the grey ones but I felt the material wasn’t to my liking. Plus, the way the pants are made with various cuts of fabric sewn on, it is very obvious in the grey ones and feels a bit too much.

I do love the navy and will be trying the black ones and recommend those ones hands down.

Exceeded all of my hopes! So comfortable, great stretch and perfect thickness. I’m 5’5 120 athletic build, the 2/4 28 in is literally perfect.
