These bootcut britches kick serious booty. To get ‘em right, we worked closely—for years—with the radass women of DX Ranch, a fourth-generation Oceti Sakowin ranch on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. Long and lean, this DX bootcut cowgirl jean works as hard on the job site as she does in the saddle. It's also a workhorse, packed with pockets and oh so stretchy. This summer-weight version of our DX Bootcut stays cool in high temps. Moisture wicking. Ultra breathable. And in a blue so good we can only describe it by looking at the summer sky. Ride on.

We're pumped to partner with the good folks of Repreve® on this fabric. Their planet-friendly threads are made from recycled plastic bottles.

We could not be prouder of this denim. It’s got the heft you need from your work jeans. But it’s ultra-breathable, moisture wicking, and has green street cred to boot. And whoa, that color! This fresh, dreamy blue is right on trend, yet has roots in the past. Pairs perfectly with grass stains.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Great-fitting, great-looking jeans

I. Love. These. Beautiful. Stretchy. Flattering. Comfortable. Classy. Jeans.

I bought a first pair, now have two. I have a small waist and that’s hard to fit. These do.

Different styles require different inseams: my Britt Utility pants and Freshley overalls are 32. My first pair of DX pants were also 32 but too short. The new ones are 34s and just right.

I could have worn an 8 but got 10.

Love the articulated knees, phone pocket on the leg, flared hem, blue sky color. These are my official dress jeans. Love them and that’s worth repeating.

LOVE

These are softer than I was expecting (a good thing) and the amount of stretch is just right. They don't stretch out and stay stretched out, they hold their shape well! I appreciate the thoughtful design details, and was so excited to discover the small zipper pocket that I'd forgotten about. I'm around 148 & 5'5" and got size 6/30. These will be perfect for the ranch, I'm sure I'll be buying more.

5'5" 280 and a true 18... boght a 20

Size 20, 30"L ended up being as close to perfect as i could have hoped.

Curvely girls, order size up.
