- Wash cold.
- Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.
We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. Unbeatable for the price point
I bought two pairs of these pants, in black and brown. I was wondering if they’d be as sturdy since they’re just over 1/2 the cost of my usual Dovetails, and they definitely are. The fabric feels like it’ll hold up with proper care, and they’re a lot more cost effective for someone who goes through pants like crazy working in a shop. I usually order a size 6 if I want pants to have some extra room, and 4 if I want them snug. I ordered a 4 and they’re still fairly loose, I could’ve even done with a 2, so I would definitely recommend sizing down.

Workwear just right
Finally, pants for women in the trades that has POCKETS, fit well and look nice. I've purchased so many sets of these pants. It's been years since I've found something that works just right for me. Even after using a pipe machine and getting grimey, they clean up! Super happy

great pants for the price!
Love these pants - they fit great and are a good deal less expensive than my most fav Britt series. The tradeoffs for the economy are that the fabric is lighter weight (though still tough) and there isn't the wonderful side pocket big enough for a cell phone that Britt has. But a small compromise to make for a great pair of pants at a reasonable cost, and they'll be comfy all year round. I got both sawdust and black. The black ones seem to pick up lint really easily - that might go away after a few more washings, I hope. I got size 8/32 because my usual 34s were not available, but the length on these is good - a generous 32.
