Brand new unboxed impressions: true to size, fabric is lighter than I expected, fabric is softer than I expected, fabric stretch is just the right amount. I didn't expect the bib to be so narrow and my chest so exposed on the sides. The blue/white contrasting stripe pattern looks more muted than photos which I like. Has a strong smell which I associate with new cotton and assume will fade after wear and wash. Garment stitching looks good. Phone fits perfectly slid into bib pocket and allows for my iphone's cameras to be at chest level, and slides out immediately when bending over. I'm 5'1 and 105., 28" length is perfect and folds at the cuff without bulk. Pant legs fit easily in muck boots. Hips feel on the tight side, I had to unbutton both sides to get in. Quite form fitting on the rear. Relaxed in the bib even with straps tightened. Buckle latch feels very sturdy but that piece that fails looks like it could pop off on these with the right angle and force. Assuming the stitching in the rear lasts and the strap buckle doesn't break, these could be my everyday everything overalls for a long time. Thanks Dovetail and all the workers who made these.

Really love the wabash stripe fabric! Couldn't find the 32 inseam anywhere, so will need to pull out the sewing machine and hem the 34 inch inseam that I ordered. Will also need to shorten the straps. It's worth it to me, as the overall fit is spot on, and the mid weight wabash stripe is the bomb!

These fit perfectly! I usually wear a 27-28 jean (5'7", 140lb) and I went with the size 6 and 30" inseam. the dark blue denim with the lighter blue stripe makes for a good looking overall. The stretch is really comfortable and allows for significant movement and range of motion - i.e. lots of squatting, bending, reaching etc! The stitching is strong and sturdy. Highly recommend.

First of all these are durn cute! I love the striping and I think as they wear in they will continue to look good.

Second they are top quality. I work as a glassblower and am very hard on clothes. These overalls have made it through three shifts in the hot shop without a singe or fraying seam in spite of exposure to very high temperatures and plenty of squatting. Regular clothes tend to begin to unravel immediately and these overalls are showing no signs of wear. The fabric is sturdy and stretchy yet lightweight.

Third, they are crazy comfortable. I did order one size larger than I needed because I grew up in the 90s and I like my overalls a little baggy but the fact that I can do a full squat in these without a wedgie (front or back) is incredible. They feel like a really cozy onesie.

I’m not taking them off. You can’t make me.

This is my favorite of the three dovetail overalls I have! Love that they have the hammer loop and the material is perfect for fall and spring but not too thick. 6 is a little big but I don’t want them tight!
