As a pregnant farm worker five months along, I am at a point where I'm realizing that all my pants, maternity and non-, now fit weird and slide down-- except for these overalls! The wonder of shoulder straps! These maternity overalls have great, useful pockets, are super comfortable, and haven't been damaged yet by encounters with thorny plants or rocky soil.

The only things I would love to have changed about them:

-add another layer of fabric in the space between the thighs/crotch gusset area, because that is where my pants and jeans all get worn out first.

-add a version in a lighter color or weight fabric for warmer weather

-have more available so I can get a rotation going! Based on how well they fit before my belly actually started popping, they might still be useful after pregnancy, especially layered for cold.

These made working actually possible for me while pregnant. I swear it’s like they gave me superpowers. At home I’d be a wet rag of slumpy soreness. Put on the overalls and BAM I was back to wrestling dogs and throwing 75lb bags of food onto my shoulder. I’m a dog trainer and I usually take my dogs into the “real world” so lots of hiking and chasing dogs through farmland. The pockets and stretch let me carry what I needed and keep up with even my most rambunctious clients. I felt like a whole person again wearing them. I wished I could have worn them to the hospital because they made me so powerful. I’m keeping them on hand in case I need them again but definitely need a non-maternity pair in the meantime!

Exactly as I was hoping for -- workwear that I can farm in but still comfy while I am 5 months pregnant. I plan on continuing to wear these through my pregnancy and I think I should still be able to wear them afterwards, which is great. Good amount of pockets, my smallest gripe is that I wish some of the side pockets were a little bigger to hold tools. But all in all, totally worth it. I wear them even when I'm not working they are so comfy!

I just purchased two more pair because I had worn out the one that I originally bought. I’m a pipefitter, these stand up to sparks, squats and stains all without falling down. This is my first pregnancy, but so far no other maternity option has touched the comfort of these bibs. Pants all just fall down and I can’t be pulling them up constantly while trying to get my job done. Everywhere you want a pocket, there is one. The tape measure pocket on the hip is a game changer. Going to have to continue purchasing Dovetail bibs for the rest of my career. I’m sold.

I’m 5’-8” 200 lbs at 37 weeks pregnant and wearing a size 12x34. I would recommend going up a size from your pre pregnancy pants. I like mine to fit a little looser, but I also tore out the crotch of the first pair, a size 10, once I really started to get a belly.
