I recently received my second pair and I am once again reminded of why these are the best work pants for women in entertainment tech.

The subtle stretch is perfect for climbing masts or crawling under stages. The reinforced knee means I don’t have to worry about crawling across concrete, and the knee pad pockets are perfect if all you have are bits of audio foam. They fit perfectly because they are ACTUAL measurements and not ambiguous “S, M, and L.” The zipper pocket allows me to climb safely with small CAT5 connector pieces.

But what amazed me this time was just how “no-fade” the color actually is, which makes these perfect for running show tracks. I’ve attached a side-by-side of my two pairs (one I have been wearing 2-3 times per week for a year).

I’d love something similar but a bit more lightweight for travel and warmer climates, but these will forever be my go-to work pants. I’m obsessed!

I work for the circus which means I have to go from construction site to show ready in a blink. I just got my second pair of these and they are as perfect as the first. I took a side-by-side photo to show how sturdy they are: the left pair has been worn at least 3x per week for minimum 8-hour days for the past year, and the right haven’t been worn yet. In my industry, the zipper pocket, side pockets, and knee reinforcement are indispensable! The canvas really does not fade. I only wish they had other black fabric options for weight (every ounce counts as a traveler)!

Received these as a gift from my partner. Wore them the day after they arrived for some hot weather homestead work, and I’m very pleased with their performance! I’m pear shaped and asked to size for my hips and thighs, so the waist gaps a bit on me but it’s nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a belt. The stretch allows the pants to hug my curves like a dream without feeling constricted and made it easy to move around during work. I would also recommend adding an inch or two to your usual inseam on this particular style; we ordered the 32” and the hem was a little high for my personal preference, but still landed appropriately on my work boots and didn’t look like high waters when all was said and done. All in all, love these pants and will definitely be adding more Dovetail to my wardrobe!
