Since then, we’ve fine-tuned the details as expectant parents around the world wear-tested  prototype maternity workwear fit for hard-working women. Our wear testers’ honest feedback about how the pants performed through pregnancy led to two stretchy, super-durable styles that fit great and work well for nine months and beyond.   • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

So glad these pants exist!

I'm really grateful to have found these pants to wear during my pregnancy, I just wish I would have had them sooner! I only got them towards the end of my 9 months, when I was making it work with oversized men's overalls. Those worked, but it was nice to have something I wasn't absolutely swimming in, and just nice to know I was seen and there were other pregnant folks out there who also worked in manual labor. I am a metal fabricator, blacksmith, and welder, and these pants were tough enough to handle what I needed. I would recommend these more towards the beginning of a pregnancy and they should last until the end or very close to it.
