We partnered with the wizards at our fabric mill to engineer this pant from the fiber up, based on exactly what working women told us they need in a winter work pant. The result? HOTSWAP™ Stretch Denim: a Dovetail-exclusive fabric that's 40% warmer than regular denim, with a brushed interior that's super soft, flexible, and never bulky. It looks and feels like your favorite denim on the outside, and works like a performance base layer on the inside. Well made

Finding pants that really fit, as a woman in the building trades for several decades, has been a struggle. The Utility HOTSWAP pants are well made and designed to fit a working woman's body. I can bend and squat easily while the thermal denim keeps me warm.

    Our current ETA for shipment is shown on the product page, just beneath the add-to-cart button. There is the possibility this date may change. If it changes by more than 7 days, we will email you.
  • Can I order the pre-order item and something else that’s already in stock?
    Yes, you can! We’ll ship the in-stock item first, and when the pre-order item is available, we’ll ship that to you separately.
  • What is the shipping cost for pre-orders?
    If you’re only ordering a pre-ordered item, shipping is the same as our regular shipping costs. If you’re ordering the pre-ordered item AND an in-stock item, there is a $18.00 flat fee for your items. In-stock items will still reach you in our standard 4-10 business days.
