Most leggings are built to work out. We built the Field Utility Legging to work in. It has all the stretchy comfort of your favorite athletic wear with an extra dose of toughness. Durable, high-stretch fabric reinforcements on the front and back stand up to rough stuff without limiting mobility. It’s great for just about anything, from DIY to layering under pants or waders for a little extra insulation. We didn’t skimp on the pockets either. You won’t find durable 5-point back pockets, like your favorite jeans, on other leggings. Get a leg up in leggings that are up for anything.

The average inseam of a full-length legging is 28", which fits heights 5'2" to 5'9". This legging is designed to land around your anklebone.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry.
  • If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty leggings in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Flexible, well fitting leggings

These leggings are extremely comfortable; their flexibility and padding over the knee area make it easy to crawl around and under plants and decking while I'm doing yard cleanup. Actually wore them to self cut a Christmas tree this year which is a mud fest here in Oregon.

Wonderful!

I love these! Perfect for both shoveling snow and gardening. I love the pockets--oh, finally, pockets that work! They are stretchier than expected, and I went up a size, but I am rather glad I did. No scrunching up needed to kneel or cross my legs. Huge fan, needs all the colors!!
