I wanted to love them
I have never owned a pair of overalls but people really love them, so I thought Iād give these a try. Weāre renovating a house and I wanted some lighter weight options to work in over the hot summer. I sized up for more room and they fit fine, but for $129 I figured if I didnāt love them immediately theyāre probably not for me. I am short and the straps were almost cinched all the way down, but I think sizing down would have made them more close fitting than I prefer. Also the edge of the bib fell right over my nipples, making me think thereād be some chafing in that area after a long day of bending, stooping, shoveling, and various scaffolding calisthenics.
Everything else about these was great - pockets, fabric, quality, etc. I think I am just not an overalls person, but thatās not their fault.

1st try with dovetail
So I got these overalls because they were on sale to try before I commit to buying some work pants. I'm 175. 5'6 43 hip 36 waist. I got the 16 34 and they are a little baggy but not bad since it's overalls and they are actually 34 inches long. In other brands like duluth or carhartt I get 34 and they are more like 32s. I'd probably size down if I wanted a more fitted but comfortable fit. I love the material and the pockets. Super lightweight oh and the stretchy straps so you don't get a wedgie.
