We are so lucky to work with Sapphire Finishing Mills in Pakistan who both made this fabric and sewed the products for us. Responsible manufacturing doesn’t get better than SFM. They hold the rigorous GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, among many others, and their women’s empowerment program is truly being the change we want to see in the garment world.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. Comfortable and Durable

Perfect for warm rainy weather. Love the fit, especially the waistband. Great pocket set up when you really need things not to fall out or be exposed to weather, I prefer some of the other pants for days when I need better accessibility to what's in my pockets.

Tactical Pants with an Elastic Waist!

I absolutely love the combination of a durable work pant with a ton of pockets, and a comfortable waistband. The biggest problem with some of the heavy duty pants is the inability to bend. These have some stretch and the waistband gives. I love them. For the tall women - I measured the inseam on these and they were exactly 34". For me, with the narrow ankle cuff, it is enough. (I have not washed them yet so I don' t know if they will shrink. I will not be drying them just in case.) I normally wear pants that go over my boots but these will be nice for situations where I don't want the hem dragging or when bugs are an issue or I just want a more trim fit for what I am doing. The only thing I don't absolutely love about these pants is that they are a touch snug around my thighs. More muscular and athletic women may find them a bit unforgiving. As for the color, I like it, but I would not call it navy. It is very dark and grey; more off-black than blue.
