This No Fade stretch canvas fabric was created by a woman-led power team. Using a pioneering, planet-loving waterless dye process—aka witchcraft—we infused the fibers with potent jet-black color that won’t wimp out in the wash. Show up, never quit, in pants that do the same.

NOTE: Say hello to the NANOPUFF of canvas work pants. This fabric won't feel like any canvas you know. On purpose. Don't get bent out of shape if it feels much lighter and softer than you expect. It's insanely tough—make that 4 X tougher than comparable canvas and denim.

Love These and Easy Returns.

I'm 63 years old and have a desk job so durability is not my prime concern. My first pair was in grey and they are so comfortable and stylish that I bought a pair (different style) in black and another style in green. I ordered the same size as the grey but they were too big so had to be returned, which I dreaded. No need! Dovetail's returns are the easiest/fastest I've ever made!! I didn't like the material of the green pair (it was as described but I didn't know I'd not like it) so for those I got a refund -- Easy. The smaller sized black pair arrived within 3 days of shipping out the too-large pair -- Fast and Easy. I'm so pleased to have discovered Dovetail!

Love these pants! I also have the thermal lined grey Britt utility. Both are amazing. I’m very picky about jeans/pants and how they fit and have no complaints with either. It’s not easy finding women’s pants that are fitting yet moveable, but Dovetail did a great job with these.

And on a side note, I often get compliments from other women saying they like my pants and ask where I got them. Friends of mine have ordered them after seeing mine and love them as well. I work carpentry/construction and they’ve held up VERY well for what they’ve been put through. Definitely my favorite work pant I’ve found so far and just about to order more.

No fade canvaspants

I measured my waist at 33” and bought this pant in a 10. It was too big. Then I purchased it in an 8 and it fits perfect. So to me the size chart seems off.

Only Work Pant I Want

I recently received my second pair and I am once again reminded of why these are the best work pants for women in entertainment tech.

The subtle stretch is perfect for climbing masts or crawling under stages. The reinforced knee means I don’t have to worry about crawling across concrete, and the knee pad pockets are perfect if all you have are bits of audio foam. They fit perfectly because they are ACTUAL measurements and not ambiguous “S, M, and L.” The zipper pocket allows me to climb safely with small CAT5 connector pieces.

But what amazed me this time was just how “no-fade” the color actually is, which makes these perfect for running show tracks. I’ve attached a side-by-side of my two pairs (one I have been wearing 2-3 times per week for a year).

I’d love something similar but a bit more lightweight for travel and warmer climates, but these will forever be my go-to work pants. I’m obsessed!
