These aren’t too think or thin - the Goldilocks of denim. I’ve worn them a couple times without washing between, and they aren’t bagging the way some denim does. There’s resiliency to the stretch. I love the grey color, which sits somewhere between ash and faded black. The front zipper pockets are a tick shallow for my phone - but no worries, because that side leg pocket is perfect. There’s resiliency tie at the waist is functional - and adds additional security if moving or squatting around lot.

I used the measurement chart and it was spot on. I got them deliberately a tick long for my inseam, because I’m a pants roller.

The Christa DIY pants have my heart, they are so incredible. They're arguably the best pants Dovetail makes because they're flexible enough for an active lifestyle yet tough enough to stand up to constant, rough wear. I wear them for everything: gardening, hiking, coaching at the gym, walking the dogs, at work, and everything else.

One thing to note is the material thickness changes depending which color you buy. I recommend the grey color if you want something thicker and tougher. The navy and black pairs are softer but the material is thinner. If I had to change one tiny detail it would be to reinforce the crotch because it gets to feel really thin there after lots of washes.

I have a pair of these in black and loved them so much that I purchased another pair in grey. I hope to have a pair in all the color options soon.

I love these plants. I had a black pair that I had purchased via a local retailer. I can wear these in my usual size because of the drawstring waist. In your other styles, I have to size up, which makes the legs and butt too big.

I love everything about these pants except that they are out of stock in the two other colors that they come in. I want to buy the other two colors and would love some more colors too! The 31 length is perfect and the fit and feel of these pants is soooo comfortable!! I am so excited to have these for the upcoming Michigan winters. The amount of pockets is so great. They are actual usable pockets not the little wimpy pockets that women's pants usually have. The size is spot on and the fabric is soft yet you can tell they are well made and durable. Buy these pants.....you won't be sorry.
