No need to take the scissors to your favorite Dovetail anymore– we did it for you. Our work shorts are back for the summer, and better than ever, with a shorter inseam (8.5”), frayed cuff, and a soft, worn-in feel. We won’t sell you short on the details that make it Dovetail: a tool loop, a pant-load of 10 pockets and a streamlined look. These fit like our past wabash stripe work short, but the frayed cuff offers more mobility, and a more washed–down fabric gives and takes.

The word Wabash comes from the Miami tribe's ‘Wah-bah-shik-ki,’ meaning “water flowing over white stones." You’ll know exactly what they meant when you feast your eyes on this yarn-dyed indigo stretch canvas striped with white dashes and dots. Wabash Stripe gives a nod to what great-great-grandma wore working in the factory– but softer, stretchier, and super strong. To cut a long story short, these work shorts are ready for a summer of sweat, grime and getting dirty with Dovetail.

They look great.

I haven’t worn them yet, but I did try them on and they seem like a great pair of shorts. Looking forward to wearing them out.
