It’s a carpenter pant and a skater pant and a maker pant. But we just call it the Shop Pant.

Tons of functionality, but on the down low. Sitting slouchy and easy, the Shop Pant doesn’t scream “work pant.” But it’s got tons of pockets and it’s tough AF. Heavy-duty, washed-down denim is made even stronger with an infusion of nylon. But this is no normal nylon. Next-level sustainable nylon won’t shed microplastics when your pants go to die. Fit Note

We designed the shop pant to be worn relaxed and slouchy. If you prefer a more fitted look, you may need to size down. It comes in 2 lengths, 32” and 30”. For a cool cropped ankle vibe, choose shorter than your typical inseam.

We’re psyched to make the Shop Pant with our seriously sustainable friends at Freedom Denim. Made with nifty CiCLO® nylon, these pants are built with strong synthetic fibers, but they break down like natural fibers. So you can get dirty knowing Mother Earth will reclaim your duds when you’re done. For more, see FABRIC.

    • Turn inside out.
    • Wash cold.
    • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

    We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

    You Need These Jeans

    Just got my Shop Jeans in the mail and I tried them on right away. I don't want to take them off. They are comfortable. They feel durable and fit just like I had hoped that they would. I am short and fat; I ordered the 24/30 hoping they would be loose. They fit just right, loose in the right places and comfortably snug in the right places. The stretch is great. Not too long, the waist is perfect. I want to say that in several brand name jeans I wear a size 20 but they are tight. I have gained weight this winter. Dovetail Work Jeans are a pleasant surprise. I plan to order other pairs for work and I have shared your sight with other working women that I know.

    Great pant -size down

    This is the best fitting pair of dovetail pants I've purchased. Based on other reviews I opted to size down and it was a perfect fit. 5'2 115lbs. Usually a 2 in dovetail but ordered a 00.

    Great pants!

    Sturdy, comfortable, good quality denim. I might stop wearing Levi’s!

    They do run large. I usually wear a 6… in these I wear a 2.

    Exceeds expectations!!

    These pants are so comfortable and look great! Very very happy with them - I hope more colors become available. I downsized from my typical size and they fit perfectly, with NO gap at the back of the waist. Love all the pockets too.

    So Many Pockets!
