Women with strong legs spoke up about how they experience more wear and tear in the crotchal region of their canvas pants. Dovetail’s D-Fender to the rescue! How do you solve a problem like chub rub? First, we reshaped our signature crotch gusset in our stretch grey canvas pants, then wear-tested it on many of the women who reached out in the first place! That’s the Dovetail way. 

Then, we called in reinforcements to make the strongest canvas pants out there. Military-grade CORDURA® fibers strengthen 8 high-wear areas: belt loops, reinforced front pocket, tool loops, crotch gusset, device pocket, nested right pockets, front overlay panels, and back cuffs. These zonal reinforcements pop with textural, tonal differences: a nod to color-blocked European workwear taking street style by storm. Speaking of storms: they’re also water- and stain-resistant, which stand up to major muck and mess. 

D-Fender women’s pants stock up on storage with 10 of Dovetail’s prized pockets, including one for your phone, three stacked on the right thigh, and a hidden security zipper behind your back pocket. And no, you’re not seeing double: there are two tool loops: lefties and righties alike can rejoice!

Triple threat plus...

Fit. Function. Fabric. Repeat! Oh, and not to forget the pockets...especially the large one on the left thigh, perfect for the GPS I carry because I have (free-ranging) Hound dogs, lol. The narrower, deeper pocket on the right side is for my glasses. For all my outside chores, these are my GO TO work pants, especially this time of year when I am cutting firewood. The Cordura overlay panels are perfect for abrasion, and a little moisture defense. Thank you, Dovetail!

Love these pants

Great fit, great fabric. Mid weight with extra protection, better than the heavy canvas when it’s not cold. Pockets, as always for Dovetail, are perfect.

Amazing pants

These pants are exactly what I was looking for. They have tons of little touches to make them comfortable, but also long lasting (like extra fabric on the back of the heel where my work pants always wear out. You won't regret getting these pants!

Absolutely love these pants as someone who is 5'10 and all legs these pants fit perfectly and perfect length!!! So happy these exist will definitely grab another pair (or two;)!) of these for the summer!!
