It’s a carpenter pant and a skater pant and a maker pant. But we just call it the Shop Pant.

Tons of functionality, but on the down low. Sitting slouchy and easy, the Shop Pant doesn’t scream “work pant.” But it’s got tons of pockets and it’s tough AF. Heavy-duty, washed-down denim is made even stronger with an infusion of nylon. But this is no normal nylon. Next-level sustainable nylon won’t shed microplastics when your pants go to die. Fit Note

We designed the shop pant to be worn relaxed and slouchy. If you prefer a more fitted look, you may need to size down. It comes in 2 lengths, 32” and 30”. For a cool cropped ankle vibe, choose shorter than your typical inseam.

We’re psyched to make the Shop Pant with our seriously sustainable friends at Freedom Denim. Made with nifty CiCLO® nylon, these pants are built with strong synthetic fibers, but they break down like natural fibers. So you can get dirty knowing Mother Earth will reclaim your duds when you’re done. For more, see FABRIC.

  • Fabric weight: 12 oz
  • Fabric content: 88% cotton/ 11% CiCLO® nylon/ 1% spandex

    • You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

    • Turn inside out.
    • Wash cold.
    • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

    We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

    Very Stoked!

    Just received the Shop Pant in Olive Green. Tried them on and the fit is perfect! For reference, I’m 5’6” and 125 lbs. I opted for the size 2 (30 inseam).

    Holy smokes! The material is noticeably high quality & thick (just right, not too thin) & stretchy. Plenty of well thought out pockets. These remind me of an older pair of carhartt Women’s Relaxed Fit Stretch Twill Pant - but wayyyy better.

    Really dig the green color and looking forward to wearing. This is my first pair of Dovetail pants, and I’m definitely hooked!!

    Great work pants

    Great jeans and super comfortable, pockets are nice and deep. I usually wear a size 4 and sized down to a 2 and glad I did . 27 waist 40 hips for reference.

    It is so refreshing to have a pair of work pants that actually fit me and my shapely curves. I have tried many of the big name brands but their pants are eather not pants but leggings, some grose injustice made out of cheep fabric, never have space for my hips or glutes, not made with the shape of a woman in mind.

    As for the fit of these shop pants they are a little large and i do have to wear a belt but i dont mind because i can wear long jhons under them come winter. Needless to say I am very happy with this purchase.
