That coworker who’s always down to cover your shift. And always up for an after-work beer. Prefers it when you don’t make a big deal about how great they are. That’s the Anna Taskpant. Named for multitasking Anna, a ski resort risk manager, wood artist, and mom to an avalanche dog. Like its namesake, this pant takes a busy life in stride. A chill silhouette reads casual. A hammer loop, crotch gusset, and ample pockets for tools and dog treats mean business. Relaxed from hip to leg—a bit more draped, a bit more lived-in, and seriously comfortable.

This pant was designed to fit "slouchy"—sit lower on the hips and relaxed through the leg.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry.
  • If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Best work pant I have ever owned. I’ve had Carhartt, Truwerk, kulh, Levi’s, ect. Super comfortable and rugged. I actually wear them everywhere now, not just to work.

Great work pants

Very comfortable through hip and thigh, but loose enough at the waist that it requires a belt. I also ordered too short of an inseam for me (they were out of the 32 so I went shorter), but I don't think that affects the overall quality. I just know for next time to size up. Durable but lightweight enough to wear for yardwork and other outdoor tasks in the heat.

Best pants !

I love these pants ! I've bought more than 6 pair now and I absolutely love them. I've got the Taskpant, the Day Construct and the Britt Utility. These fit great, look great and are made very well. I'm still wearing a pair from 8 years ago that have some rips but are still wearing great.

When can I expect my pre-ordered item?

Can I order the pre-order item and something else that’s already in stock?

We’ll ship the in-stock item first, and when the pre-order item is available, we’ll ship that to you separately.

What is the shipping cost for pre-orders?

If you’re only ordering the pre-ordered item, shipping is the same as our regular shipping costs.
