Folks, our Freshley Overalls are F’in magical. Containing the signature Dovetail Workwear “stretch sauce,” these overalls are designed to fit and move on every body while bending, digging, painting, or shearing. Freshley is a full-body toolbox of nested pockets for stashing seeds, brushes, pliers, and phones. The bib pocket includes a genius eyelet—fancy language for “twine hole”—through which to run twine for tying up the tomatoes, or to hold your fine-gauge wire spool. Did we mention it looks damn good on?

We are stoked to work with our friends at Tuk Tuk in India, who made these wabash overalls. A WRAP Platinum facility partnered with Intermode, Tuk Tuk is a sustainability star, milling gorgeous fabrics onsite as well as making them into clothes. Also onsite, Tuk Tuk's organic veg garden provides lunches for workers.
  • Midweight stretch canvas
  • Fabric weight: 8.5 oz
  • Fabric content: 98% organic cotton / 2% spandex

    • You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

    • Fasten all hardware.
    • Turn inside out.
    • Wash cold.
    • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

    For overalls, fasten all hardware. We recommend buttoning the strap clasps to the top hip buttons and underneath the hip buttonholes, so the metal fasteners don’t bang around in your machines and break (or keep you up all night).

    We get it's tempting to wash those dirty shortalls in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

    Dovetail Overalls, oh yeah, the real deal

    These overalls fit comfortably, in my size 6, I love the elastic in the suspenders, the gusseted crotch makes bending effortless, my knees are protected. Overall, these overalls are everything I expected, and I look good in them too!

    Like a hug

    These took FOREVER to get to me... almost 3 weeks. But worth the wait! With just enough stretch, the rugged canvas material is so incredibly comfortable. They are true to size, and the options in length are great for those of us with long legs. I would buy multiple pairs!!

    Great fit, nice stretch

    These fit perfectly! I usually wear a 27-28 jean (5'7", 140lb) and I went with the size 6 and 30" inseam. the dark blue denim with the lighter blue stripe makes for a good looking overall. The stretch is really comfortable and allows for significant movement and range of motion - i.e. lots of squatting, bending, reaching etc! The stitching is strong and sturdy. Highly recommend.
