To get ‘em right, we worked closely—for years—with the radass women of DX Ranch, a fourth-generation Oceti Sakowin ranch on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. Long and lean, this DX bootcut cowgirl jean works as hard on the job site as she does in the saddle. It's also a workhorse, packed with pockets and oh so stretchy. This summer-weight version of our DX Bootcut stays cool in high temps. Moisture wicking. Ultra breathable. And in a blue so good we can only describe it by looking at the summer sky. Ride on.

We're pumped to partner with the good folks of Repreve® on this fabric. Their planet-friendly threads are made from recycled plastic bottles.

  • Fabric content: 80% cotton/ 18% REPREVE® recycled polyester/ 2% spandex

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

feel like they are making love to my butt & thighs

second pair. I lost weight. it’s all your fault, dovetail… now that I have the most comfortable workwear I’ve ever owned, I’m out doing more and more work outside & have dropped a few sizes. it’s got me more fit. these are the first pick for a jeans day. was delighted that my smaller size fit just as well as the first. amazing comfort, just the right amount of stretch, perfect weight of material & perfect pocket arrangement. fit feels so good, while allowing full range of motion in hips for all positions of work or leisure. my butt is in love. thanks xox

I live the jeans, I’m actually a dark blue kinda girl but these r ok too.

Just ordered my first size 12, previously purchased 14/32 which were fine I just used a belt. Hoping the 12s will fit better with no belt. I’m so glad I heard about these jeans from a friend. I don’t know how many times I have thanked her. I work in a factory we r preparing products to be moved by cranes. I’m up and down. Twisting turning, bending , kneeling and well u know the drill. I work along men all day and with these jeans I’m never worried about showing areas of my back side. I feel really good in them, even sexy!

Everyday pants

These are the real deal! I have been a professional river guide for 23 years in Grand Canyon. So, the right clothes in most things I do matters. I appreciate a solid work pant that is even fancy enough to wear out for a beer 😉 thanks
