Wow.

Okay so hear me out. When I got my two pants, this one was my least favorite of them. It didn't have as many pockets as the Britt X and it doesn't have the ez waist or the just clip it on the waist line. It also had a weird gap in the back. I have a butt and a small waist, with wider hips. I did not like the gap, but with a belt it was fine. I was like, okay whatever. Threw it in the wash and wore it to work, and the gap was so much less! I was like cool! It turns out the pockets are more than enough and the waist band is comfortable AND it actually fits knee pads! I don't know why the Britt X also has straight leg just like this one, because the legs of the day construct are mich wider than the Britt x. Maybe I just didn't read it right when I bought them lol. Out of the Maven x, Britt x, and day construct , only the day construct actually has wide enough legs to fit knee pads. Anyways, but what really hit it home for me with these pants is where the waist ends! It sits perfectly right where my belt is comfortable. The Britt x has too high of a waist. I know the mid and high waists are supposed to minimize butt cracks showing and I get that, but me having to wear a belt all the time with heavy things hanging from it, the only waists that are comfortable are the ones that cross just above my hip bones. Not low rise, but also not very mid rise either. Kinda in between I guess.

Anyways, I like these pants. (Guess I coulda just said that lol.)

great pants but I'm tired of the color

Well these are my go-to's. The fabric is nice and lightweight and sturdy. I love the slight water repellent feature, often I get splattered with water in my work, but I can just brush it off and not have to be wet all day. They are everything they say they are and I love them. Also have had prayers for years and they really hold up. I work in Hawaii in the conservation field and having lightweight but tough pants is essential. These really check all the boxes. Well almost all the boxes......

My biggest problem is that for the past several years the only color they come in in my size is navy! I want Brown khaki kelp and anything but this navy. I'm beginning to feel like I work for a uniform company or something I'm so navy. Thank you for working on getting other colors in my size!

Love these pants. Two months ago I got my first pair, now I have three. Unbelievably comfortable, so easy to move and bend. I got them for gardening and now wear them everywhere. I wear a 4/32 (I like them a longer) and wear a 4 in jcrew/6 Patagonia for size. I honestly never do reviews. Treat yourself.

I love the fit!

These are so comfortable. They're close enough to "jeans color" that I can wear them with my security uniform at church.

A pocket for the utility knife, the pen, the phone, the paper, you name it. I love these and every other pair I have purchased so far. I have three more on the way. All straight legs, and all fit well so far.

God bless all you ladies and thanks for your innovation on behalf of women workers. I worked as a welder for thirty-plus years, now as a gunsmith. I wish I'd had these all those years ago! The build of these pants make a huge difference to the fit, comfort, and functionality.

I love you all! :)
