This ripstop fabric also incorporates EcoElite™, the world's first plant-based water- and stain-repellent.

This fabric is as comfy as it is tough, with a good amount of stretch and ripstop construction to shut out the sharp shit. Basted with the world’s first plant-based water- and stain-repellent, EcoElite™, this fabric also contains cotton sourced by the Better Cotton Initiative. All of this is packed into a lightweight, quick-dry package. You’re welcome very much.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. Love these pants!

In my 60’s and do a lot of hiking and work on our property. These pants fit great - I’m 5’6” 125 and a 6 is perfect. If I wanted more room, say for a base layer, I might go up to an 8. I do find they loosen some as they are worn. I have the navy, which I love, but am considering adding another pair in the green.

Size Discrepancies

I wear a 6 in the brown version of these pants and they fit great. I ordered the navy in the same size but they were too small. Had to return and get a size 8. Just FYI. Other than that, they fit great!
