We’ve gone all out. Built for the EMTs, messengers, outdoor school teachers, and the rest of us wannabes, the Ready Set Cargo pant is a walking storage unit. But it still looks sharp. Because we Dovetailed it. Yes, we’ve made you an elastic waist cargo pant with big-ass pockets. No, you won’t lose your self respect when you wear it. Deep design tweaks (peep those slash-angled pockets!) bring full-on function and Sarah Connor in Terminator vibes. You can have it all. And carry it too.

We are so lucky to work with Sapphire Finishing Mills in Pakistan who both made this fabric and sewed the products for us. Responsible manufacturing doesn’t get better than SFM. They hold the rigorous GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, among many others, and their women’s empowerment program is truly being the change we want to see in the garment world.

Inspired by the EMTs and first responders, we mixed up a special fabric that’s almost as heroic as they are. This CORDURA™ micro-ripstop is as hardcore as it gets. Tough as hell, it will not let you down.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Great pants for construction!

I've been in commercial construction for over 20 years...installing acoustical drop ceilings. These are comfortable and sturdy. They are so worth it!

Great for Medics or just looking great!

Spent years in the police and tactical world wearing saggy, baggy, ill-fitting pants made for men. These pants are a game changer. Comfortable, stretchy and they fit a curvy/athletic form. Only thing I would add is a stretchy pocket inside the cargo pocket for smaller items (like a wallet, magazine, sm. flashlight) so they don’t get lost.

Comfortable

These are strong and lightweight. The elastic waist and bottoms are my favorite. Excellent for everyday and Superb work pants for a person my size. If you had these in convertible zip offs they would be the only pants I would ever buy!!

These are a great lighter weight pant. Pocket placement is perfect and I love the roominess in the front pockets. Ripstop fabric is durable without the stiffness.
