Yep, it doesn't get hotter than the radass crew of Facilities women who tested our most lightweight work pant, deep in the bowels of the University of Virginia. Hot, hard work calls for an ultralight, ultra breathable work pant. But it's got to be tough. So we called in micro-ripstop. And radioed for water resistance. Does ultra lightweight mean we skimped on features? As if. We built this pant off our Britt Utility—the most technical work pant for women. But Britt X Ultra Light has even more tool storage, just way less weight. Now that's hot.

Our lightest weight fabric! But you know us: we'd never sacrifice toughness. Abrasion-resistant micro-ripstop shuts out the sharp shit. This fabric is also super breathable and contains a dash of our secret stretch sauce, so you can flex your moves in comfort.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Great pants...perfect for landscaping

I originally got a size 4/30 and had a pretty big gap in the back. Returned and got a 2/30 (I'm 130 lbs 5'6" athletic build) and still have a bit of gap but wearing a belt helps. Love the pants, a little noisy when I walk but super comfy, material repells water droplets, and stays clean with a little dusting off when I get them dirty from potting soil, etc.

Love my new pants!

I love these pants! I am almost 65 years young, and I have wanted some lightweight and tough pants for garden and yard work. These are perfect!

In 2013, I retired as a Police Chief. I wish I could have worn uniform pants that were more like these. If you haven’t considered expanding your workwear to policing, you might want to re-think that. Comfortable workwear is essential in policing too.

I also love that your models represent different sizes, shapes, and ethnicities. I’m not sure I saw older models. (I may have missed them. If I did, that’s my bad. If I didn’t, you might consider adding a few photos. ). I think your clothing will appeal to all ages. Continued good luck!!

Awesome pants

Dovetail workwear has been a tremendous find for me. I work in a garden center and could not feel great wearing any other pants. I have tried overalls, jeans, joggers, but nothing felt comfortable. Thank you Dovetail for your awesome designs, choice of sizes, and range of fabrics. The weather here in OR changes so frequently and, these pants keep you on the go no matter what.

Perfect for southern workwear

It’s hot and these pants keep me protected while also offering some level of cool factor (appearance and a breeze 😂🫣)

They do wear in quickly so I suggest sizing down!
