I'm about 5'7 and 145 pounds, I ordered the size 12 with a 30 inch inseam ( I feel like I have a fairly long torso), the leg length & fit is perfect - not too tight, not too loose, and they don't drag or look too short. The fabric is thick, but as another review mentioned the wide leg allows for air flow. I love them, and plan to wear them for grandma-ing!
