It’s a carpenter pant and a skater pant and a maker pant. But we just call it the Shop Pant.

Tons of functionality, but on the down low. Sitting slouchy and easy, the Shop Pant doesn’t scream “work pant.” But it’s got tons of pockets and it’s tough AF. Heavy-duty, washed-down denim is made even stronger with an infusion of nylon. But this is no normal nylon. Next-level sustainable nylon won’t shed microplastics when your pants go to die. Fit Note

We designed the shop pant to be worn relaxed and slouchy. If you prefer a more fitted look, you may need to size down. It comes in 2 lengths, 32” and 30”. For a cool cropped ankle vibe, choose shorter than your typical inseam.

We’re psyched to make the Shop Pant with our seriously sustainable friends at Freedom Denim. Made with nifty CiCLO® nylon, these pants are built with strong synthetic fibers, but they break down like natural fibers. So you can get dirty knowing Mother Earth will reclaim your duds when you’re done. For more, see FABRIC.

    You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

    • Turn inside out.
    • Wash cold.
    • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

    We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

    Great pants!

    Sturdy, comfortable, good quality denim. I might stop wearing Levi’s!

    They do run large. I usually wear a 6… in these I wear a 2.

    Exceeds expectations!!

    These pants are so comfortable and look great! Very very happy with them - I hope more colors become available. I downsized from my typical size and they fit perfectly, with NO gap at the back of the waist. Love all the pockets too.

    Everything I hoped they'd be!

    The fit and functionality of these pants is a dream come true. I have a hard time finding work pants that are comfortable for my 5'1 120lb frame. I ordered these in a 2/30 inseam and they're perfect. I can cuff them up but don't have to and I really like the interior elasticized waistband. They don't feel like they're stretched out and slipping down at the end of the workday. The pockets variety and placement is stellar too!

    The slightly distressed green is unique and just my style. I'll definitely order more colors of this pant when they are in stock!

    I'm super impressed with this company who obviously knows how to make quality women's work wear! Thank you Dovetail!
