You may be tempted to call these shortalls "cute." We are too. But in a low whisper, so they don't hear us. Because they're serious. Swiss Army Knife serious. Compact, but packed with function. Based on their big sis, the Freshley Overalls, these ultra-lightweight hemp denim shortalls have a million nested pockets (including our famous Twine Hole™), plus a hammer loop. All tucked into a streamlined, shorty-pants silhouette. Yep, it's a lot in a little – but just right.

Lovers of lightweight denim, we made these for you. If you have our other shortalls, these feel a little softer, but still have hemp for strength and good vibes.

Props too, to Mother Nature for giving us hemp, the miracle fiber that keeps on giving. Built into our beautiful fabric blend, hemp is super strong, yet biodegradable.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Fasten all hardware.
  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty shortalls in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Perfect!!

I love these shortalls as much as I love my bib overalls!! Light weight, roomy, comfy and don't stick to you when you get hot and sweaty .

Love them, want to live in them, kind of live in them now LOL

Ran a little big, but honestly so comfortable and love all the of the millions of pockets. The zipper pocket is a little hard to get my phone in and out, definitely wasn't going anywhere! All of my other clothes feel in adequate, why don't they all have so many convenient pockets and suspenders that will hold the weight of tools?! Thanks Dovetail. My second item from ya'll. My sister gifted me long overalls which are also incredible, but the Ripstop is perfect for summer and dry quick and don't hold onto stains. I'm short, 5'1", so shorts length is long, FYI. Thanks Dovetail!
