Folks, our Freshley Overalls are F’in magical. Containing the signature Dovetail Workwear “stretch sauce,” these overalls are designed to fit and move on every body while bending, digging, painting, or shearing. Freshley is a full-body toolbox of nested pockets for stashing seeds, brushes, pliers, and phones. The bib pocket includes a genius eyelet – fancy language for “twine hole” – through which to run twine for tying up the tomatoes, or to hold your fine-gauge wire spool. You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Fasten all hardware.
  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

For overalls, fasten all hardware. We recommend buttoning the strap clasps to the top hip buttons and underneath the hip buttonholes, so the metal fasteners don’t bang around in your machines and break (or keep you up all night).

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty shortalls in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Just buy em

I've wrestled with "do I really need these" for a long time. Finally bought em. Yes, I needed them and you do too. Great for work (custom homebuilding), cute for out and about (mountain town), extremely comfortable, obviously well made, etc etc etc. Love them.

Great overalls

Love my overalls. I really appreciate being able to choose the appropriate inseam for my short self. I would also like to give a huge shout out to Melissa. I emailed her when FedEx inordinately delayed the delivery of my package and I wasn't having any luck resolving the problem with them myself. Melissa was super quick to respond even though I'm several time zones away from her. She was so very helpful and supportive. Thank you Melissa!

Sisterhood of the Traveling Overalls

Just back from a week long trip, and my son says I tried to sell a pair to everyone that would listen! The TSA agents when they had to search my hip (Because it has a zipper, yo! Check it out, Queen!), some painters at the artist gallery we went to, err'ybody.

Was soo thrilled to be wearing the dropflaps on my journey across the border to Mexico, cuz the bathroom stop at the border facility was a straight prison bathroom - brick walls, steel toilet, no doors! - and at least I had some coverage as the lovely little family walked right by..

I have two pairs - one thermal, one not - and I will probably end up with twelve more before the time I die. I love these things!
