I ordered these as soon as they came out because I’m six months pregnant and my usual pants that I wear for work on an organic farm don’t fit any more. Was very happy to find maternity pants that fit with my work. I only worn them a few days so far. I mostly really like them. I felt like they were falling down in the back when I was kneeling down though so I added a belt. Also using the pocket on the right leg for my phone which works but I wish it was deeper so the whole phone was covered instead of sticking out at the top. I really appreciate what Dovetail does though. And am happy that they came out with maternity pants just in time for me!

I'm really grateful to have found these pants to wear during my pregnancy, I just wish I would have had them sooner! I only got them towards the end of my 9 months, when I was making it work with oversized men's overalls. Those worked, but it was nice to have something I wasn't absolutely swimming in, and just nice to know I was seen and there were other pregnant folks out there who also worked in manual labor. I am a metal fabricator, blacksmith, and welder, and these pants were tough enough to handle what I needed. I would recommend these more towards the beginning of a pregnancy and they should last until the end or very close to it.

I wore these for the last two trimesters of my pregnancy. It was great to have a simple pair of work pants that were stretchy and functional during pregnancy. My only complaint was the brand name is “painted” on the inside of the waist band in back, and it was often itchy. I have sensitive skin though, so it may just be me.

I originally ordered these in my usual size 10 and they fit alright but were tight in the thighs. So I exchanged for the 12 and now they’re pretty loose in the waist and I didn’t get as much added room in the thighs as I had hoped. So if you don’t have thick thighs like me, you will probably be fine. I do have trouble keeping them up with the lower rise, but I’m finding that seems to be the case with any maternity pants. The pants are made of good quality material and stand up to sparks while I’m welding.

For reference I’m 5’-8” and 175 pounds at 22 weeks pregnant.

I will say the maternity bibs are a DREAM and I will be ordering a second pair.

These can definitely handle a tough job. They are good quality pants like any of the others I've tried from Dovetail. But I think it is a little tricky getting these to fit correctly jumping straight into them in my 3rd trimester. If they'd been available a little sooner I totally would have snatched them up in 2nd trimester which might have given the fabric a little more time to stretch and break in as my baby continued to grow. As it is, they feel a little tight brand new in 3rd trimester even though this is the same size I've bought in other Dovetail pants and in their original Maven maternity jeans (discontinued).
