Sizing of GO TO Pant is more generous than other Dovetail Workwear styles. If you are on the smaller side of your typical size, we recommend you size down.

  • 9.7 oz midweight stretch canvas
  • 98% cotton, 2% Spandex

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. Love these!

They weren't kidding when they called these go to. I got them for work, but immediately wore them to the grocery store. They are cozy and comfortable enough to wear whenever, but also durable enough to hold up in the field. Definitely thinner/ lighter weight than my other dovetail work pants. And they are a bit more high waisted than I expected, but super comfortable.

Just what I needed

These are my first Dovetail products - I have resisted buying anything until I saw these. Very reasonable price for work pants that have the features I need. I'm normally a snug 10/loose 12 (5'6" 178 pounds) so I bought the 10s based on reviews. Excellent choice! They fit well and have the stretch I need to be able to bend and move. I will be wearing them in my woodshop as well as for gardening and outdoor home maintenance. Thank you!

Best Dovetail cut for me yet

I have several pair of Dovetail trousers, but had quit wearing the Maven Slim because they are cut so large in the waist that a belt caused a lot of unattractive and uncomfortable fabric-gathering -- while being snug as could be on my calves. Snug enough that brisk walking tended to grab the fabric and ratchet them down my legs, leading to ever more belt-tightening! These GO TO fit way better. I did choose a smaller size, but the overall shape is perfect for me. A belt is still a good idea (especially with any weight in the pockets), but for anyone with waist smaller than hips, this is a better bet. Lovely light fabric too means they pack very small. I have had these 4 days, and they're all I've worn.
