Folks, our Freshley Overall is F’in magical. Containing the signature Dovetail Workwear “stretch sauce,” this overall is designed to fit and move on every body while bending, digging, painting, or shearing. Now in a midweight saddle brown stretch canvas, Freshley is a full-body toolbox of nested pockets for stashing seeds, brushes, pliers, and phones. The bib pocket includes a genius eyelet (fancy language for “twine hole,”) through which to run twine for tying up the tomatoes, or to hold your fine-gauge wire spool. Freshley has it all minus the frump.

NOTE:This saddle brown canvas is lighter weight (10 oz) compared to our Grey Canvas (12 oz) in the Freshley Overall. It was designed for warmer weather and has a beautiful drape. It is slightly heavier than the Indigo Stripe (pinstripe 8 oz) Overall.

    You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

    • Fasten all hardware.
    • Turn inside out.
    • Wash cold.
    • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

    For overalls, fasten all hardware. We recommend buttoning the strap clasps to the top hip buttons and underneath the hip buttonholes, so the metal fasteners don’t bang around in your machines and break (or keep you up all night).

    We get it's tempting to wash those dirty shortalls in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

    The Newest Dovetail Fan

    To think I've been gardening for more than 5 years in a pair of flimsy cotton overalls from Amazon and am just now coming to the Dovetail party. Fortunately, I learned that the team at Floret Flowers loves your women's workwear, so I decided to give the overalls a try. This weekend I donned my new Dovetails and was beyond pleased with the fit and the function. I thought they would be heavy and hot, but absolutely not. I usually wear a size 12-14 and am 5'8" tall. The size 14 is perfect for me. Now that I know about Dovetail's craftsmanship, I plan to order a pair of work gloves and another pair of overalls! Five stars from this new fan.

    Comfy and functional

    This is my fourth pair of Freshly overalls. 😁 I just love the functionality on my job at a landscaping/nursery business, gardening and projects at home, and just hanging around the house. I reach for them more than my jeans. The fabric is a good weight for a wide range of temps here in Vermont, and the style is cute. Dovetail sizing has been very consistent so I feel confident ordering an item online that has worked for me in the past. Thank you for this!

    I absolutely LOVE my Freshly Overalls. I am a professional gardener and hard on my work wear but these overalls stand up to season after season. The stretch in the shoulder straps is a game changer for bending and standing over and over again. The company stands behind their product and have been quick to resolve any issue I've ever had. It is my #1 recommendation for overalls that go the distance and are extremely comfortable. Get a pair in every color. I even have the fleece lined ones which help with those chilly spring and fall days in the garden.

    My new favorite thing

    It’s going to take supernatural forces to part me from my overalls. Super comfy and practical as I hop in and out of my truck preparing the garden for spring. Tough enough for traipsing through prickly weeds but cozy indoors too.
