Fit notes:
I am at the high end of size 12 on the chart for these Britt thermal pants.
44.5” widest hips, 33” natural waist, 30” inseam, 5’4”,curvy hourglass figure with bum, hips, a momma belly and muscular thighs.
If you don’t like tight waistbands, I recommend sizing up 2x if you have a similar figure & are on the high end of your size. Slimmer figured ladies should do fine in their size per the chart, but size up one if you like a loose fit and want to wear a base layer.
I ordered two pairs in 12 & 14. Received a 12 and 20 due to human error i suspect, but no biggie because exchanges are super easy with their automated system on the website!
The waistband on the 12 was so unforgiving that i decided to exchange for size 16, knowing a 14 would likely be a perfect fit, leaving no room for a heavy wool winter base layer, or even comfortably tucking in a shirt. Plus, i prefer a loose fit waistband since i primarily use my workwear for farming, have a big butt and need to bend, squat etc.

Quality & design notes:
Excellent durable textile! Truly innovative and warm until the harshest of sub-zero temps when you will need a base layer.
Although, I would consider this mid-stretch, not the high stretch described. The waistband has no stretch, which is why i am sizing up! And i am short so the waistband is right below my belly button.
Lotsa great pockets, love the double front. Wish it had the front thigh zipper pockets like the Britt X hemp, or even one like the…
