Most leggings are built to work out. We built the Field Utility Legging to work in. It has all the stretchy comfort of your favorite athletic wear with an extra dose of toughness. Durable, high-stretch fabric reinforcements on the front and back stand up to rough stuff without limiting mobility. It’s great for just about anything, from DIY to layering under pants or waders for a little extra insulation. We didn’t skimp on the pockets either. You won’t find durable 5-point back pockets, like your favorite jeans, on other leggings. Get a leg up in leggings that are up for anything.

The average inseam of a full-length legging is 28", which fits heights 5'2" to 5'9". This legging is designed to land around your anklebone.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry.
  • If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty leggings in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Fills a niche I didn't realize needed filling.

They feel sturdy! Time will tell. But the pockets are well stitched, although I have felt a few threads snapping as I pulled them on the first time. Seams will hopefully hold up. Wondering if they used thread with stretch.

Pockets! Pockets! Pockets!

What a marvelous pair of leggings! Almost as exciting as my awesome Dovetail coveralls! I am 74 and not in the work force but leggings with multiple pockets - a dream come true!

Amazing leggings!

I love the materials and all the pockets. They were a little large (I usually wear large, but might have been able to wear a medium in these. Not sure enough to exchange them, though). They're really cool. I can carry dog treats and my phone without worrying about losing them. When cooler weather comes I'll be in them all the time.

New favorite work pants!

Oh my….I’m in love!! My new Dovetail Field Utility Leggings are one of my new favorite tools!

The fit, feel and thoughtful design of pockets and materials (I’m a woodworker, landscaper and farmer!) is outstanding!

No yanking on waistbands as I bend and haul materials, no sliding down as I sweat buckets and defiantly no limited mobility as I wrangle sheep. So comfortable and hardworking, I don’t even think about them until I’m throwing them in the wash.
