So these ended up on me after a long saga and two pairs of saddle canvas Freshleys, and at this point I really don't know which I like better: the overalls, or the customer service. Dovetail can't be beat on either front. The indigo denim is a touch more snug than that canvas Freshleys right out of the box, but I expect with several wears they'll fit like a glove, just like the canvas ones. And for what it's worth: I'm pretty solidly a size 18 (pre re-worked sizing, not sure what I am in the new sizing), kinda floppy, with big hips and giant boobs and plenty of rear end, and in general it's pretty safe to say that RTW clothes- of ANY kind- are NOT made with my body in mind. These overalls? Literally fit like a glove. After two hard-working wears, they fit like they were made for me. I don't think I've been able to say that about a single garment I've ever worn at my current size. I dig the garden, I scythe the acreage, I muck out the stalls, I cook, I bake the bread, I sling the kids around like sacks of potatoes- these overalls stay put and move with me like a (canvas) second skin.
So if you're tough to fit, give Dovetail a try. I'm shortly going to be trying out a bunch of pants, but even if those don't work out I'll be a Freshley girl for life. (And I say again: the customer service is beyond *chef's kiss*.)
