Our lightest weight fabric! But you know us: we'd never sacrifice toughness. Abrasion-resistant micro-ripstop shuts out the sharp shit. This fabric is also super breathable and contains a dash of our secret stretch sauce, so you can flex your moves in comfort.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. Great Pants for Construction Sites!

These pants are great - I love the comfortable waistband and how many functional pockets there are! I’ve only worn them twice so far, but they seem to be of good quality and will hopefully last a while. I ordered the 28” inseam, which is typically what I wear, but they are much shorter than anticipated. It was likely user error in measuring and I’ll be trying the 30” inseam for the next pair.

Best fitting pants I’ve ever owned

I don’t know how they did it, but these are seriously the best fitting pants! I have short legs so need a 30” rise and it is hard to find pants at other retailers with this as a specific option. So then I end up having to get them hemmed which is a PIA. The other thing I love are the number of pockets, which allows me to avoid carrying an extra bag, as I can fit my wallet, phone, glasses, and other essentials in them. The fabric is spot on, tough but comfortable. I originally found this brand totally by accident at a very small, private sporting goods store, and am still amazed at my luck having wandered in spur of the moment. May Dovetail “live long and prosper” as I may never buy another brand again!

Great work pants

I got these for field work that requires hiking off trail through the mountains every day. They’re so comfortable that I can wear them all day! They’re lightweight so they’ve been good for hiking in the heat. I did rip them the first day working because I’m working with barbed wire but the rip didn’t extend and has held up perfectly after stitching it up. The waist is a tiny bit big because my waist likes a size 2 but my thighs need a 4 but that’s just my body and a belt solves the problem! The pockets are perfect and plentiful! I can put my phone or inreach in the side pocket and I can pull it out easily to check the map. Other pockets are great for holding tools and chapstick! I also like that I can feel a bit feminine during manual labor! They stretch a bit after a week of wear but not significantly and bounce back after washing.

I also had a pair show up 2 inches shorter than the inseam I had ordered and dovetail is sending me a new pair asap!

I don't think, I know I love these pants. They're comfortable just like the utility Brit, but a heck of a lot cooler.
