The coveralls to end 'em all.

Engine oil, grease, and dirt are no match for Faye Hadley, who works hard and gives her all to every car she works on. She asked us to design coveralls that were durable enough to survive her toughest days at All Girls Garage + Moto Mythbusters. We listened, and we delivered.

We created Faye the coveralls she needed, but they aren’t like anything else on the market. Deep chest pockets organize her notebook, pens, screwdrivers, and wrenches. We added an inner drawcord, belt loops and snaps to keep ‘em up when it gets too hot in Faye’s West Texas garage to wear the top.

Our Dovetail Workwear fan-faves come in these do-it-all coveralls too: ultimate movement thanks to a crotch gusset, reinforced knees with an opening for pads, and nested pockets that prioritize storage on the thigh keep your tools on hand, but out of the way.

Also Available In Long Sleeve!

Women need choices: want to wear your coveralls over other clothes or if you are finding you’re in-between sizes? Size up. If nothing comes between you and your coveralls, stay with your regular size – then check out the care instructions below to keep ’em clean and in tip-top shape.
Props to our friends at Foison Textiles in China, who milled this fabric. This facility is powered entirely by solar. Oeko-Tex and WRAP-certified, Foison truly embodies the change we want to see in the apparel world.
  • 57% cotton, 26% polyester, 14% modal, 2% rayon, 1% spandex
  • Midweight, 10 oz, high stretch

This neutral, midweight, navy twill has stretch and heft.

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

So comfy!

I ordered the medium and I usually wear a m/l in most things. This fits like a dream and still have room to add my FR base layer comfortably for work.

I will be buried in these

I have been looking for a very long time for coveralls or a boiler suit that won't give me a wedgie when I lift my arms - at 5'11" that is a challenging thing to find. When I saw that Dovetail came out with coveralls, though, I knew I had to jump on them and ordered that very day.

My god, I love these so much I need to buy another in the short sleeve, and two in the long sleeve so I always have a clean one to change into after wearing one to work and never have to wear anything else again. They're so comfy, have the same great fit and sturdy construction as Dovetail pants, and, much to my surprise, the 33" inseam ensures a wonderful lack of wedgie!

Part of me wants this in a dozen more colors, but why mess with perfection?

Just buy them. You'll love them.

Hit the Nail on the Head- REAL coveralls that fit like a dream.

I have longed for coveralls that fit me (tall girl) and are actually built to work hard in for as long as I can remember. Other brands I’ve tried are obviously more fashion-oriented and always run short on me, so I’ve made do with men’s coveralls (you know the ones with the saggy crotch). NO MORE!

Things I love: The quintessential pockets, the fabric is sturdy with stretch in all the right places, and the tuck pleat on the back of the shoulder makes the fit and finish shine. I appreciate the adjustable waist and long inseam options too. These look and feel great, and I had customers complementing ‘my look’ the first day I wore them (nice to hear when you’re filthy every day!)

Things I’d like to see in the future: A different kind of draw cord. This one feels like it could get into trouble in the wash. I’d prefer a more substantial cord that I could knot, or maybe a button hole elastic with a button on each side to secure. I think it would be great to offer this in different torso lengths as well, and add a shoulder to crotch measurement in the size guide to assist gals who are shorter or taller than average.

Bottom line, BUY THEM. Can’t wait for more varieties of these, A+ Dovetail!

Love them!

I'm super excited about these they look great and are comfy and have nice details. My favorite new coveralls visually!

I would have added a star if I didn't unpack them to see the label says handwash or dryclean. I wear coveralls not just for fashion, but in a metalshop full of grease and metal filings. By design working coveralls are not items you would need to treat with such care when washing, as they are meant to take on a lot of grime.

Love the concept

I've been waiting forever for Dovetail to come out with some kind of Coveralls! So I was thrilled to see these and ordered them immediately. I normally wear a 2 in Dovetail so I ordered the XS, overall I was happy with the fit, pulled just a tad at my crotch when standing straight up. Unfortunately I did not like the material. Fairly typical mechanic coverall material, thicker then most on the market for women. Nothing really wrong with the material it just doesn't work for me and my line of work. I think overall they are great coveralls, just don't work for what I need. Hopefully they prove to be popular and maybe Dovetail can release some more in a different fabric. I'd love to see them in some kind of denim or ripstop personally.
