Aircraft mech turned HVAC mech here—I’ve had over a decade of experience trying to find pants and Dovetail is the best, hands down. Durable, pockets where they should be, unrestricted movement, and they finally FIT. The Day Constructs are my favorite for work due to the heavy material, side pocket that fits my 11-in-1, and wider leg that slides easily over my boots (Redwing cowboys).

Back to the fit though—after years and years of being swallowed in fabric, not being able to put anything in pockets because my belt is already doing the Lord’s work, and generally looking like a child dressed up in her dad’s clothes—THANK YOU Dovetail for being size inclusive. I’ve bought 8 pairs of pants in different styles and I’ll be a customer for life.

Comfortable to wear. Durable material. Have a second pair to have on hand as a backup when the first pair wears out since I work outdoors and in a woodshop a lot.

I’ve only had these a few days and already love them. They will be the ones I pull out when there is a big work day ahead of me. Seemed stiff at first, but then conformed to my body as I wore them in a bit. Love the color too!

The pants are great. They fit well and look like they'll last a long time. But, I had to return the original pair for the next size up.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these. They were my favorite that I tried on. I bought several different pairs of pants in size 6 (my usual size), but when these came in they wouldn’t even button. I exchanged super easily and received a new pair (size 8) before I even returned the ones that didn’t fit. But even the size 8 was too tight around the waist to button. Now I’m waiting on my size 10 to come in and hopefully these fit because I’m so ready to wear these. So keep that in mind when adding these to your cart. Luckily their return policy is great.
