And can we talk about this stretch cotton canvas for a minute? Sure it's tough and durable—wouldn't be in our line if it wasn't—but it's not the stiff canvas you might have been putting up with if you've been wearing men's workwear. We engineer our duck canvas with a touch of stretch for comfort thanks to feedback from the hundreds of women weartesters who have had a hand in helping us perfect it. Love the fit!

The Maven X fits me perfectly!! Slim fitting without being too tight across my belly. Unfortunately the metal rivets on the thighs might mean I can't ride my horse in these (don't want to tear up the saddle), but otherwise these are my new favorite Dovetail style. I wear a 10 in these. Some styles I wear an 8, like the High Rise Old School pant. Others I prefer a 10, like the Day Construct. I never like my pants to be *too* tight, so that's why I love the Maven X - it's a more fitted style without strangling me.

Best fitting workwear pants!

Sturdy enough to hold up to heavy duty outdoor work while being comfortable enough to wear all day long. I love these pants. A great fit and love the ‘give’ at the rump for bending over for long periods of time-there’s no pull through the bum and no chance of ‘plumber’s butt!’
