I wear these pants for gardening. The first pair I purchased was a 4/32 which fit loose but were the right length. When I washed them and put them in the dryer, the length shrunk but not the width. Knowing this, I purchased the second pair in a 2/34. Out of the package, they were too long but after washing became the perfect length. Surprisingly, they are also still slightly loose. Since the suggestion by reviewers is that this style runs large, I think my regular size in Dovetail must be a 2. I am just under 5' 8" and about 130 pounds.

Worn only once so far but so good! Comfortable and lots of useful pockets. Nicest hiking pants I’ve ever owned. I’m 5’5 and 150 lbs 30 inch waist 30 inch inseam and the size 8 is perfect though I need to wear a belt, which I always do anyway. I don’t understand the rivet all over the pants with the little nipples that stick up. They look like they have reflective dots on them? Or can you buy chaps to snap onto them? Anyway, a mystery makes them look interesting.

Followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size down. They are perfect!

I loved my green pants so much I had to order this color too. I hesitated because some of the pictures made them look white. Dovetail staff to the rescue and have no fear - they are gray! Just like the gray mourning doves that fly around here. I wear a 10 and sized down to an 8. For some reason the light Britts do not fit me AT ALL in either an 8 or a 10. But these Annas do. I have a size 12 waist and a size 8 hip (not much of a waist).

I love my Mavens but may try some Anna's when the weather gets cooler.
