To get it right, we worked closely—for years—with the radass women of DX Ranch, a fourth-generation Oceti Sakowin ranch on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. Long and lean, the DX jean looks like a tall drink of water. It's also a workhorse. This pant also ranges beyond the ranch, with a double "shot pocket" that fits essential vet med tools, as well as folding knives and anything else that needs to sit snug ’n shallow. This is one of our only pants without thigh reinforcements, so it's optimal for horseback work. But fear no fabric fail: these bad britches are reinforced with CORDURA® threads, baby!

  • Fabric Content: 75% cotton/ 10% nylon/ 13% polyester/ 2% spandex

    • You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

    • Turn inside out.
    • Wash cold.
    • Hang dry.
    • If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.
    • Color may transfer.
    • Wash separately.

    We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low.     Love these

    I really love these, so comfy!! I love the fit and they are perfect for cowboys boots. I always have trouble finding jeans long enuf. These jeans will get better and better with age !! ❤️

    Dx Bootcut Rules

    The cut and fit of Dx Bootcut jeans feel and look great. I have them in both brown and indigo and in both the old and new sizing. In the old sizing I was a 16 / 30 and it was a perfect fit for me. (I am 5'5" and 175 lbs.) With the new sizing I am really in between the 16 and 14 waist size- 16 seems a bit loose, 14 a bit tight. A little frustrating. However, these jeans tend to snug up upon washing so either will probably work depending on what I am wearing. This company really understands women's needs in terms if fit and performance in a work pant that is also stylish and very practical. The fabric of these jeans is also tough as nails. I was actually badly bitten by a dog on the leg and the jeans literally prevented all the teeth from getting through the material. Only one canine tooth made it through. Needless to say I am impressed. My only wish is that they would make them in black as well. They would fly out of the warehouse. These pants are at home in the shop, in the yard or out to dinner. The fit is that good. Please make them in black!

    Best jeans I’ve ever bought!!

    These bootcut western style jeans fit me better than most jeans I have bought in my life! The added utility features are even better!! I work in the construction industry and was so tired of buying ill fitting men’s pants because that was all that was available. These pants are my first purchase from Dovetail but I guarantee it won’t be my last!

    Amazing

    This is the first pair of work pants I’ve owned that actually fit me correctly. All the other companies make work pants that are either long enough but too skinny or fit but are too short. I’ve always ended up buying men’s pants which also don’t fit right or just wearing regular pants which I can’t put my tools in. I’m a GC and need to wear work pants every day. I couldn’t be happier to finally find pants that fit my shape and hold my tools.
