    Day Construct Pant

    The fit was very different than the BrittX which I love. These are tighter in the waste and not a flattering fit on me. I am going to return them because they aren't right for my body shape but I have no doubt that they are high quality as are the other Dovetail Pants I own. These are a better cut for a pear shape, not so much for my apple shape.

    Still one thing...or two.

    These like the canvas need an extra set of belt loops between the outside of the hips and the middle, as well as sizing in the 20 to 24 range. Otherwise with these the Day Construct is nearly perfect. Once you have more color options in the rip stop Day Construct and in size 20, I'll be ordering more!

    Awkward fit

    Girls with big butts and big thighs may struggle to find a good fit. I normally wear an 8. The 10 was too snug, the 12 has a huge waist gap that pulls down while being awkwardly tight on my thighs.

    The look of the pants is cute, the fabric is tough, all the pockets are great… I just don’t fit their sizing. Seem to be better for lean girl builds.

    Nice pants - two thoughts

    Nice pants - two thoughts:

    1. was looking for a summer weight pant, and this is a little too heavy/warm for summer gardening use in hot/muggy climate

    2. large gap in back of waistline - have to tuck shirt in and cinch belt tight so as to not flash my students; not sure if smaller size would be better
