Yep, it doesn't get hotter than the radass crew of Facilities women who tested our most lightweight work pant, deep in the bowels of the University of Virginia. Hot, hard work calls for an ultralight, ultra breathable work pant. But it's got to be tough. So we called in micro-ripstop. And radioed for water resistance. Does ultra lightweight mean we skimped on features? As if. We built this pant off our Britt Utility—the most technical work pant for women. But Britt X Ultra Light has even more tool storage, just way less weight. Now that's hot.

Our lightest weight fabric! But you know us: we'd never sacrifice toughness. Abrasion-resistant micro-ripstop shuts out the sharp shit. This fabric is also super breathable and contains a dash of our secret stretch sauce, so you can flex your moves in comfort.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Love 'em for trail work

I just ordered my 2nd pair of these. I bought my first pair last year for my trail work job and they are SO comfortable and durable (though they are wearing a bit in the crotch/inner thigh area, unfortunately - but I put them through a lot last season, so overall they held up very well). The material is awesome, not too hot like canvas pants would be, and pretty quick to dry. The pockets are great, stretchy waistband is great, I love everything about these pants. Excited for a fresh pair!

Been on the hunt for field pants that can withstand 10 hour days of ripping through alders and I have high hopes that these will be the ones! The pants are also flattering which is a huge bonus. They did arrive with some pilling between the legs but they withstood the first wash without any issue. Already ordered a second pair.

The best in womens work pants

The fit is amazing. I've got curves and it felt impossible before Dovetail to find work pants that fit me well, allowed me to move and performed under harsh conditions. I am so impressed and greatful to have found this brand made by and for women!

Something finally fits

I’m 5 ft and 128-130 lbs with a bit of a booty. Love these! They fit at the waist and the shortest inseam is perfect for me in my boots. I’m in construction management and have been having hard time finding pants that I can work in and look decent in for clients (and that fit the company dress code). Thank you for the pockets. Second pair of pants from Dovetail…I’ll be back again.
