Hot, hard work calls for an ultralight, ultra breathable work pant. But it's got to be tough. So we called in micro-ripstop. And radioed for water resistance. Does ultra lightweight mean we skimped on features? As if. We built this pant off our Britt Utility—the most technical work pant for women. But Britt X Ultra Light has even more tool storage, just way less weight. Now that's hot.

    Our lightest weight fabric! But you know us: we'd never sacrifice toughness. Abrasion-resistant micro-ripstop shuts out the sharp shit. This fabric is also super breathable and contains a dash of our secret stretch sauce, so you can flex your moves in comfort.

    Shrinks a lot

    I like the pants overall. The waistband is very comfortable. I washed the pants in cold water and air dried them and they shrunk a couple of inches. I would order longer pants if I got another pair. Now the pants are above my ankle.

    Great for the warmer weather.

    Love them! (Love all my Dovetail work wear- and I have a lot!) Only complaint is no pencil pocket on the right side. (I'm a carpenter) (and right handed;) They are a bit baggie on me, but great for my tummy.

    Best Dovetail Product

    Omg these are my favorite Dovetail pants yet. The rip stop feels lightweight and durable - more durable than the olive rip stop for the Day Construct pant. The cut of the Britt is my favorite cut of all Dovetail pants. I like that it is mid-rise and straight leg. The elastic waistband is genius and keeps the pants comfortable and fitting right as my weight fluctuates. I do fieldwork in Sacramento in the heat of summer (100F+) and I really appreciate that this year I’ll have a lightweight option that feels durable and abrasive-resistant. I have started wearing these in place of regular pants/jeans, I love them that much and find them that comfortable. Give me more colors - I want black, gray, navy, red, anything and everything! For those of you looking for sizing reference, I wear a 10-32” in these pants, I’m 5’6” and 155lbs.

    Excellent

    Wonderful light work pants for smaller people! We work hard too! Some of the lower leg pockets are slightly different shapes than the canvas Britt, but they are on the same sides. The elastic wasteband is definitely a looser fit as well. I might have sized down but I prefer my pants to be snug.

    Overall they are great, dry fast, and hold all the things I need for work

    new fave pants!

    These pants are very comfortable, lightweight and sturdy. Perfect for work and wear in the heat of West Texas. They breathe well and move well. I bought the 6, they fit me great, a big big which is how I like my pants to fit, not tight. I'm 5'6", 120 lbs, slender.
