Women Build Nations... And they Build Great Workwear

We had the most amazing time with the most badass tradeswomen at the October Women Build Nations 2017 Conference hosted by Chicago Women in Trades and the North America’s Building Trade’s Unions Women’s Committee in Chicago!

We were there to find out what women need in workwear and the attendees from all over the states and world delivered. We met and talked with inspired trades workers who disrupt the status quo and lead their fields every day. We heard so much about the incredible array of industries represented, the specialized workwear used and common frustration points.

Co-founder Sara DeLuca, who oversees our designs and production, looks forward to using all the feedback received to elevate Moxie and Moss workwear development.

"Direct dialogue with our customer allows us takes our design innovations to the next level. It allows us to really get a sense of the industries where women's workwear matters and frustration points from unique points of view, so we can prioritize our product development over next two seasons," Sara said. "We can't address it all at once, but we will, over time, incorporate these essential features into our products."

If you attended the conference, we want to keep up with all the amazing things you're doing and follow your journey! Please tag photos from the WBN conference this weekend or once you get your Maven pants with @MoxieandMoss or #MoxieandMoss, so we can follow you back! You can also reach out via our Facebook page or email us.

We were overwhelmed and overjoyed by the connections we made. All we can say is THANK YOU! Can't wait to be back at WBN in Seattle next year!

A big thanks from co-founders Kyle Marie, Sara and Kate
