I got these for working at the distillery (barreling, some light plumbing here and there). I actually got my first pair a few months ago and they seem to have had some sort of manufacturing issue because the fingers wore out, exposing my fingertips! I emailed customer service about my issue and within a week I had a brand new free replacement pair which seems to have been made slightly different from the first pair but I actually think it's an improvement!
These don't need breaking in (the first pair did, they were a bit stiffer but I can curl my fingers shut or use tools without feeling like I'm wearing oven mitts), work well with the touch screen I use for our production processing (I don't go near my phone with dirty gloves when I work so I can't speak for that), they offer great protection with all the cushioning and pretty good dexterity (for wearing gloves at all, let's be real here). They don't any grip material in the palms which has rarely been an issue for my particular needs but I'll pretty much wear them more often than not, regardless. I'm not a fan of getting crushed hands.
I especially love that they're not super gummy or stretchy (like gardening gloves or whatever you can find at the hardware store) cause I've had gloves pop right off while rolling barrels around. The velcro wrist keeps them super locked in place. I carry them around in my Freshleys back pockets for quick access anywhere :)
They're definitely not cheap but I hope/expect these to last for…
